Domaine Carneros
Founded in Carneros by the Champagne Taittinger family, Domaine Carneros specializes in Pinot Noir & sparkling wines. The architecture features a French-inspired chateau and gorgeous gardens. The winery offers the perfect backdrop for photos.
Tastings range from $40-$175 per person. Guests can choose to add pairings to their tastings upon arrival like charcuterie, smoked salmon, and Caviar by Tsar Nicoulai. This location is great for groups up to 8 guests.
Domaine Chandon
Founded by Robert-Jean de Vogüé in 1973, Chandon specializes in exceptional sparkling and still wines. The location features panoramic garden views
Chandon offers tasting options from $55-$175 per person. Thai location accommodates groups up to 10 and even larger groups with request.
Be sure to check their tasting options throughout the year as they update their experiences seasonally.
Mumm Napa
Located in Rutherford, tastings range from $40-$125 pp. The winery features views of the surrounding vineyards and the Mayacamas Mountains. Mumm accepts groups up to 6, but will also allow larger groups with request. Dogs are welcome at outdoor tasting experiences.
Schramsberg Vineyards
Schramsberg is a A historic Napa Valley winery and offers cave tours and tasting experiences. Their sparkling wines are made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. Guests can choose between an all sparkling tasting or a sparkling and red wine tasting. Tastings range from $85- $135 per person. Schramsberg accommodates groups up to 6 and sometimes accepts larger groups depending on availability.
Davies Vineyards
If Schramsberg does not have availability, Davies is a great substitute as they are sister-properties. Although Davies does not have a cave, they offer the same wines as Schramsberg for a lower cost per person. Davies offers a sparkling tasting, red wine tasting, and a combination tasting. Their tastings range from $65-$75 per person and they offer a Wine and Caviar pairing for $180 per person. Davies accommodates groups up to 6 guests, but allows larger groups with request.
Peju Province Winery

Things to Consider:
Date, Budget, and Group Size
There are a number of things to consider when planning your event. At the top of the list would be your event date, group size, and budget.
Are you trying to visit during harvest season to see the grapes at their peak of ripeness? Do you prefer to visit in the summer to enjoy the warm weather and bustling local events? Are you looking for the perfect place to spend the Holidays?
Visiting post- harvest in the winter months will be more affordable than Summer and Harvest Season in terms of flights and lodging. Wineries and restaurants that do not typically take large groups (Groups over 6 guests) will have more availability to make exceptions.
Event Theme
It’s important to have a theme in mind when planning to ensure your event meets your needs.
Common themes in Wine Country include, but are not limited to, Education and History, Relaxation, High-end, Art-focused, and Team Building.
For example, if you are looking for Relaxation, your planner may focus on planning your event around the hot springs, spas, laid back winery locations, and dining with ambiance versus if you were interested in Education and History your planner might focus on locations with a strong background, food pairings, museums, classes, and tours.
Live Music and Permits
Depending on the nature of your event, the county may need you to obtain permits or approvals to ensure a well-planned, safe event. Some examples of required Permits include encroachment, zoning, food, fireworks & special effects, tents, vendor & cooking booths, and wastewater disposal.
